As well as the experienced team members listed below, Luxmoore works with a team of experienced sub-consultants, network traffic and transport engineers, architects, town planners and land-use and environment consultants.
Larry Schneider – Manager and Principal Consultant
Larry is a highly regarded parking adviser with more than 20 years experience in parking operations and technology in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. He established the parking division within ARRB Group in 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Law.
Previously an executive director of the international Wilson Parking Group he has had responsibility for the development and implementation of management contracts, audit controls, parking operations, security, marketing, compliance and the introduction of new technologies. He provided input on the course content of the Parking Education Program at Monash University and facilitates a Parking Operations Training Workshop which received an Award for Excellence in Planning.
Larry has presented papers on parking issues and technologies at forums in Australia, Canada, China, New Zealand, Qatar and the USA. He has consulted on shopping centres, hospitals, universities and airports to many of Australia’s largest car park owners and managers, and at a strategic and micro level to local and state government organisations.
As President of the Parking Association of Australia, Larry has exposure to a wide range of local and international parking industry interests.
Lauren Yarrow - Consultant
Lauren Yarrow has over 8 years experience in traffic engineering and parking in the public and private sector in Australia and England. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and a Graduate Certificate in Road Safety. Lauren has undertaken parking operation training programs and has researched world’s best practice technologies for parking management.
While employed by Arup, Lauren provided advice on the design and operation of parking layouts, access arrangements and operational impacts for private industry projects including tertiary education institutions and large shopping centres. Working for local government, Lauren coordinated improvements, studies and surveys for parking, including a Parking Issues Review. She was a member of the Ipswich Parking Taskforce which implemented short, medium and long-term changes to parking to complement the needs of the city’s growth. Lauren worked closely with council’s parking enforcement team, investigating the technical and administrative details of parking enforcement. She is well positioned to provide information on parking technology.
Lauren has consulted to local governments in Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania providing strategic and detailed advice on parking. She has assisted with tender specifications for parking technology for local governments and airports. Lauren presented a parking case study to the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia Queensland Conference. She is a casual teaching assistant in the Engineering and Surveying Department of the University of Southern Queensland, Springfield. Lauren is based in Brisbane.
Caroline Aylmer-Brewin - Consultant
Caroline has four years experience in the UK and Australia in Transport Planning. She worked for the large UK consultancy Mouchel and then at Hobsons Bay City Council.Whilst working for Mouchel Caroline was responsible for providing traffic engineering assistance and coordinating many traffic engineering aspects in producing transport solutions for major retail developments.
She has been responsible for the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans and produced a Statement of Common Ground on Transportation Matters. Caroline was involved in preparing network coding and matrix processing for forecasting environmental assessments whilst undertaking work for the Highways Agency, and she has undertaken junction assessments using PICADY, ARCADY and LINSIG for Tesco supermarket stores.
Whilst working for Hobsons Bay as an interim Traffic Engineer, she was involved in investigating traffic engineering issues such as parking, street signage, street lighting and road safety.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and is based in Melbourne.
Ling Xie – Business Analyst
After graduating from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting in 2006, Ling was a Contact Centre Analyst for AAMI’s Service and Claims division.
In 2008 she joined Luxmoore as a Business Analyst specialising in reconciliation of revenues, costs and cash collected and banked. Ling is committed to giving clients a high level of professional service.
Hong Pham – Business Analyst
Hong commenced with Luxmoore in 2006. As a Business Analyst, Hong is responsible for detailed audit reporting on the performance of key locations throughout Melbourne's CBD.
These include metropolitan councils, universities, hospitals and office towers. Her strong analytical skills and attention to detail has helped Luxmoore develop strategies and plans to ensure Luxmoore continue to provide a high level of service to customers.
Caroline Nicholson – Business Support
Caroline joined Luxmoore in April 2008 and has been involved in numerous parking projects. She has experience in data acquisition and analysis of parking occupancy and utilisation surveys as well as the evaluation of the financial comparison of occupancy and whole-of-life costs for technology.]
Caroline undertakes parking research and assists on consulting and development projects. She has been involved in the project management of new technology for Perth Airport, the Town of Vincent and Darwin City Council including the development of training programs and maintenance reporting. She has worked on parking policy reviews and strategic plans for the Cities of Adelaide, Stirling, Ipswich, and Launceston.
Jeanette Alexander – Business Support
Jeanette joined Luxmoore in November 2008 and is the first point of contact for clients for any administrative issues.
Jeanette has also assisted in many parking projects including Brookfield Multiplex, Centro Glen and the Austin Hospital car park. She edits and proofreads reports, undertakes parking research and assists on development projects.
Luxmoore also regularly accesses other resources such as architects, traffic engineers, transport planners, land-use and environmental consultants.
